unforgettable experiences.
A few days that can transform
much more than your practice
Imagine a few days entirely dedicated to music, sharing, presence, human connections, and self-exploration.
Far from the daily grind, my workshops and retreats invite you to live a deeply human experience, where the handpan becomes a wonderful tool for discovery, expression, and connection. Whether you come to discover the instrument, deepen your practice, recharge, or simply treat yourself to a timeless break, each event is an invitation to slow down, feel, and reconnect with yourself, others, and the present moment.
Online courses are a fantastic resource, but nothing replaces the richness of a group experience. Presence, spontaneous exchanges, shared practices, and collective energy create a unique environment, conducive to awareness, learning, and transformation.
In just a few days, many participants experience breakthroughs that stay with them long after the workshop.
When you fully grant yourself this time, learning, progress, and transformation naturally take root. These immersions offer a privileged space to deepen your practice, find inspiration, cultivate your presence, and more deeply integrate what is experienced. An experience as enriching musically as it is humanly.
Beyond the music, it is often the encounters that leave the most beautiful imprint. Each event brings together people from different backgrounds, united by a shared desire to connect, learn, grow, and live an authentic experience. Friendships are born, projects emerge, and a true community naturally weaves itself through these encounters.

Complete
Experiences
Much more than a simple handpan workshop.
The balance between learning, human connections,
and self-expression.
Much more than simple lessons, my workshops are true musical immersions where each day nourishes technique as much as creativity, listening, and presence. Through guided explorations, musical games, collective practices, and improvisation moments, you will progressively develop a freer, more fluid, and more personal playing style.
Here, there is no competition or performance goal. The essential thing is to experiment, to feel, and to learn to trust your intuition. My approach favors direct experience so that each participant reveals their own sensitivity and discovers an authentic way to express themselves through the handpan.
The “Soul Sanctuary” Retreat
Harmony · Emotion · Transformation.
Soul Sanctuary is a seven-day immersion in the heart of preserved nature, designed to offer you a true return to your essence. The handpan, provided to each participant, becomes a tool for presence, self-expression, and inner peace.
Around it, we invite you to explore a palette of other practices fostering self-reconnection: meditation, mindfulness, guided introspection, breathwork, workshops on stress and hypersensitivity, sound and shamanic journeys, exploration of archetypes, ceremonies, and energetic & shamanic practices.
A deeply human experience to slow down, regain your balance, and allow what naturally seeks to express itself within you to emerge.
Accessible to all
levels
even without any prior experience,
you will naturally find your place
Whether you are a complete beginner or already have experience, our events are designed to welcome everyone exactly where they are. No prerequisites are necessary to participate in our beginner workshops or the Soul Sanctuary retreat, while intermediate workshops allow you to deepen your handpan practice, enrich your musicality, and further develop your creativity, to better express your emotions.
Whatever event you choose, you will join a group composed of people from varied backgrounds, of all ages, and with very different journeys. This diversity is an integral part of the richness of the experience.
Everyone brings their sensitivity, their story, and their unique way of experiencing music, sharing, and self-discovery.
Our approach is progressive, benevolent, and adaptable to the needs of both the group and each participant. Here, there is no comparison or pressure, only a space where everyone is free to evolve at their own pace. What matters most is not your level, but your desire to fully live the experience, to learn, to share, and to grow.
Together, we create an environment where differences become a true asset, serving encounter, creativity, and transformation.

Handpan Workshops
I have never played a musical instrument. Can I participate?
Yes, absolutely. Beginner workshops are specially designed for people discovering the handpan, including those who have never played music before. No technical or theoretical prerequisites are necessary.
Do I need to know how to read music?
No. The handpan is a particularly accessible instrument that allows you to enjoy it from the very first moments, without any knowledge of music theory. Our approach to teaching and practicing the handpan is not based on learning traditional music theory. We favor a simple and accessible pedagogy for everyone, intuitive and concrete, based on the use of visual and numerical cues to identify notes, the acquisition of solid rhythmic foundations, the development of listening, and a natural understanding of harmony. The goal is to allow you to play, feel, and understand music in a lively and accessible way, without getting lost in complex theoretical notions.
Do I need to own a handpan?
No. A handpan is lent to each participant for the duration of the workshop. But if you own your own handpan, we recommend bringing it with you.
Note that we also offer handpans for sale during our workshops, to guide you towards a quality instrument.
What will I learn during the workshop?
Initiation workshops notably allow you to discover:
- The functioning and history of the handpan
- Good posture and breathing
- Striking techniques and different sounds
- The basics of rhythm and harmony
- The expression of emotions through music
- Playing in duos or groups
- The first notions of composition
- How to choose your future handpan and avoid bad surprises when buying
Is the workshop suitable for shy or reserved people?
Yes. The atmosphere is based on kindness, listening, and respect for everyone’s pace. It is not about performance but an experience of musical and human exploration.
What are the ages of the participants?
The workshops welcome adolescents (accompanied) and adults of all ages and backgrounds. The diversity of backgrounds is an integral part of the richness of the experience.
Will I make progress in just two days?
Yes. Even as a complete beginner, you will leave with solid foundations, concrete tools to continue playing, and above all, a new relationship with music and self-expression. You will know how to play the handpan when you leave!
Is it possible to acquire a handpan during the workshop?
Absolutely. Thanks to our activity around the handpan and our collaborations with several trusted manufacturers, we generally have a stock of handpans available for immediate purchase. We can thus bring different instruments to the workshops so that you can try them and, if you wish, leave directly with the one that suits you.
If none of the available instruments perfectly meet your expectations, we can also assist you in choosing and ordering a handpan from one of our partner manufacturers. We then take the time to guide you according to your level, musical tastes, budget, and objectives, so that you find the instrument best suited to your journey.
Where do the workshops take place?
We organize our workshops in various locations throughout France, including Ardèche, the Grand Est region, the Paris area, and the West Coast, as well as in several neighboring countries such as Germany, Luxembourg, and Switzerland. In France and beyond, new destinations regularly enrich our program (by the way, feel free to suggest a new location).
Each location is carefully selected to offer an environment conducive to learning, sharing, and immersion in the world of the handpan and self-development. All practical information, specific details of the venues, and available dates can be consulted directly in our event calendar.
Are the workshops offered with full board?
Absolutely. Most of our workshops are offered with full board to provide a more immersive, convivial, and rejuvenating experience. Depending on the location, this option may be optional or mandatory.
The cost of accommodation and meals is always separate from the workshop fee paid on my site. All details are specified on the detailed page for each event.
Handpan Workshops
From what level can I participate in an intermediate workshop?
Intermediate workshops are for people who already have the basics of handpan and wish to deepen their practice. It is not necessary to be an experienced musician, but prior experience with the instrument is recommended. If you have any doubts, contact me and I can guide you to the workshop best suited to your level.
What more will I learn than in a beginner workshop?
Intermediate workshops allow you to go further in:
- Playing fluidity
- Developing groove and rhythm
- Complete improvisation
- Musical harmony
- Composing melodies with meaningful structure
- Emotional expression through playing
- Developing your own musical identity
- A workshop dedicated to audio and video recording: discover the equipment, settings, and best practices to showcase your music and share your creations with excellent sound and image quality
Are intermediate workshops suitable if I am self-taught?
Yes. Many participants have learned on their own and wish to structure their knowledge, correct certain habits, or discover new approaches.
Will I be compared to other participants?
No. The pedagogical approach is based on individual evolution. Everyone progresses at their own pace, with their own objectives and musical journey.
Can I come with my own handpan?
Yes, of course, we recommend you bring your own instrument. Handpans can also be made available during group practice sessions, so that we can all play in the same scale (D Kurd 10 notes) and fully enjoy the collective exercises.
During personal exploration times, it will however be very interesting to start applying the teachings, tools, and concepts discussed to your own instrument, even if it is tuned in a different scale.
We will also be available to support you individually during these moments and answer your questions to help you adapt the learnings to your handpan and your musical universe.
Do we also work on the emotional and intuitive aspects?
Yes. Beyond technique, essential importance is given to listening, intention, self-expression, and connection to one’s feelings.
The goal is not only to learn to play the handpan, but also to develop one’s musical sensitivity and ability to translate emotions into music.
We explore together the resources already present in each of us so that, once combined with the technical tools transmitted during the workshop, they allow you to authentically express what you carry within you and transform it into melodies that reflect you.
Are there moments of collective playing?
Yes. Group playing, mutual listening, musical exchanges, and collaborative experiences are an integral part of the experience.

Experiences that leave a mark
“A human experience above all.”
Our workshops are often described as experiences difficult to explain in words. Between the encounters, the music, the emotions, and the insights, everyone experiences something different.
Of course, participants progress in their handpan practice. But what comes up most often in their feedback concerns the quality of the encounters, the group atmosphere, and the depth of the exchanges experienced during these few days. An experience that often continues to resonate long after returning home.
Each person arrives with their expectations, questions, and story. Yet, many leave with something they hadn’t imagined finding: more confidence, freedom, presence, or simply the feeling of having lived a deeply human experience.
Over the years, a true community has formed around our events and continues to grow. Many participants return regularly, meet friends from previous workshops, and continue to share their passion far beyond the event itself. A collective adventure that continues to grow.
offering a sincere glimpse into what can emerge when one takes the time to fully immerse themselves in this adventure.
What if your next
journey started here?
A few days can sometimes open new perspectives. An encounter with the handpan, but also with yourself.
and discover what happens when you truly take the time to listen,
to feel, and to share.
Each workshop or retreat is an invitation to slow down, explore, and reconnect with what truly matters. If something already resonates within you as you read these lines, it may be time to take the plunge and experience it for yourself.
Imagine a few days where the only priorities would be to play, learn, discover, share, and fully enjoy the present moment. This is precisely what we create together during each workshop and retreat.
Whether you come to progress musically, meet other enthusiasts, or simply take a break from your daily life, you will find an event capable of meeting your current needs.
The handpan is a wonderful pretext for deeply human experiences. If you feel the call of music, creativity, and connection, we will be happy to welcome you to an upcoming event.
