Terms and Conditions of Sale

Last updated: September 11, 2026

1. Purpose and acceptance

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T) apply to any order placed on the warrenshanti.com website: registration for a workshop, retreat, class, or training, and the purchase of digital content.

They define the rights and obligations of Warren Ruiz, seller and organizer (hereinafter the “organizer” or “we”), and the customer (hereinafter “you”). They include the cancellation and refund policy, set out in Articles 8 (right of withdrawal) and 9 (cancellation of workshops and retreats): there is no separate document.

Any order implies unconditional acceptance of these T This acceptance is given by ticking the box provided for this purpose when confirming the order. The applicable terms are those in force on the date of the order; we invite you to keep a copy.

The online school is hosted on an external platform (Skool). It is not sold on this website and is subject to that platform’s own terms.

2. Seller identity

The warrenshanti.com website is operated by Warren Ruiz, acting as a sole proprietor under the name “Warren Shanti”.

  • Address: Hauptstraße 179, 44892 Bochum, Germany.
  • Email: contact@warrenshanti.com.
  • Phone: +33 7 85 84 03 49.
  • Tax identification number (Germany): 306/5198/4341.

Full information about the site’s publisher and host is provided in the legal notice.

3. Services offered

The workshops, classes, and retreats offered on the site are designed for learning and practicing handpan and/or other musical or wellness activities. Each workshop or retreat is described in detail on its dedicated page: content, duration, dates, location, pricing, and accommodation arrangements where applicable.

The site also offers digital content: music albums in MP3 format, a digital book (eBook), and video programs. This content is provided without any physical medium, by download or online access, once payment has been validated. It benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in Articles L224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (§§ 327 et seq. of the BGB); in the event of a defect, write to contact@warrenshanti.com.

No physical products are sold on the site; therefore, no delivery is to be expected.

4. Pricing

Prices are listed in euros. The applicable VAT regime is specified on the invoice.

Some digital content is offered on a pay-what-you-want basis: you choose the amount you wish to pay, starting from the minimum indicated on the product page.

For workshops and retreats, the price includes the teaching cost and, where applicable, meals and/or accommodation when this is specified on the event page. The amount paid on the site at the time of registration is a deposit; the balance is paid under the conditions of Article 5.

The organizer reserves the right to modify pricing at any time, but services are invoiced based on the rate in effect at the time of booking.

5. Deposit and balance

Registration for a workshop or retreat is completed by paying online, at the time of the order, the deposit indicated on the event page.

If you have paid only a deposit at the time of registration, the remaining amount due must be paid in full no later than the start of the workshop or retreat, according to the terms communicated by the organizer.

This balance remains due if you do not attend the workshop or retreat without having cancelled your registration beforehand, unless you find someone to replace you (Article 9). If you cancel your registration, the amounts already paid are handled in accordance with Article 9.

6. Order and payment

The site’s shop and orders are managed by the SureCart platform: cart, order confirmation, receipts, and customer area.

Payments are made online via the secure Stripe platform. The payment methods offered at checkout are:

  • credit card;
  • Klarna, for deferred or installment payments depending on your eligibility, via Stripe;
  • where applicable, other payment methods offered by Stripe.

Payment is secure and encrypted; no banking data is stored on the site. The amount is debited when the order is confirmed, at which point it becomes final, subject to Articles 8 and 9. A payment confirmation is sent to you by email.

7. Invoicing

An invoice is issued automatically after payment and sent to the email address provided during the order. It specifies the applicable VAT regime.

If you have a customer account, your orders remain available in your customer area.

8. Right of withdrawal

For any distance sale, the consumer generally has a period of 14 days to withdraw without having to justify their decision. However, the law provides for exceptions that apply to most of the services sold on this site.

Workshops, retreats, classes, and training

The right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date or over a specific period (Article L221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code; § 312g, paragraph 2, no. 9 of the BGB, German Civil Code). This is the case for the in-person workshops, retreats, classes, and training offered on this site, whose dates are indicated on the event page. The cancellation and refund conditions in Article 9 apply.

Digital content

Digital content (albums, digital books, video programs) is provided without any physical medium and made accessible immediately after payment. When confirming the order, the checkbox that constitutes acceptance of these T also includes your express request that the supply of the content begin immediately, before the end of the withdrawal period, and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code; § 356, paragraph 5 of the BGB).

Other cases

For any order that does not fall within these exceptions, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days from the conclusion of the contract by sending us an unambiguous statement by email to contact@warrenshanti.com or by post to the address indicated in Article 2. No specific form is required. The amounts paid will then be refunded to you, using the same payment method used for the order, no later than 14 days after receipt of your statement.

9. Cancellation and refund

This article serves as the cancellation and refund policy for workshops, retreats, classes, and training. It does not apply to digital content, which is governed by Article 8.

9.1 Cancellation by the participant

If you need to cancel your participation, please notify us by email at contact@warrenshanti.com. The date your email is received is taken into account, and the time limits below are counted in calendar days before the start date of the workshop or retreat:

  • Up to 60 days before the start of the workshop or retreat: full refund of the amounts paid.
  • Between 59 and 30 days before the start of the workshop or retreat: your deposit is kept and is non-refundable.
  • Less than 30 days before the start of the workshop or retreat: none of the amounts paid is refunded.

In the last two cases, a refund remains possible in the event of force majeure or serious impediment, upon presentation of supporting documents (see section 9.3).

Instead of cancelling, you may transfer your spot to a person of your choice, provided you inform us in advance by email; your registration is then transferred to that person.

9.2 Cancellation by the organizer

If we have to cancel a workshop or retreat (exceptional reasons, force majeure, insufficient number of participants), we will inform you as soon as possible by email. You may then choose between a full refund of the amounts paid and transferring your registration to another session.

9.3 Force majeure and serious impediments

The following are considered, in particular, cases of force majeure or serious impediments, upon presentation of supporting documents:

  • serious illness or hospitalization (with medical proof);
  • death of a loved one (with proof);
  • government restrictions preventing travel.

In these situations, the amounts paid are refunded to you.

Any request for cancellation or modification must be made by email to contact@warrenshanti.com.

10. Liability

The organizer is liable, under the conditions provided by law, for damages attributable to them. They are not liable for damage you cause yourself, or damage caused by another participant or a third party, or damage resulting from force majeure.

You are responsible for your own safety and personal equipment, and you follow the instructions given during the workshop or retreat.

11. Personal data protection

Information collected during the order (last name, first name, email address, etc.) is necessary for processing the order and managing registrations. It is transmitted to service providers involved in its execution, in particular the shop platform (SureCart) and the payment provider (Stripe).

The terms for processing your data and all of your rights are detailed in the privacy policy. You can exercise these rights by writing to contact@warrenshanti.com.

12. Complaints and amicable settlement

In the event of any difficulty, we invite you to first write to us at contact@warrenshanti.com so that we can look for an amicable solution together.

The organizer has not appointed a consumer mediator. Within the meaning of § 36 of the German Act on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters (VSBG), it is specified that they are neither obliged nor willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer conciliation body.

13. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In any event, the consumer benefits from the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 known as “Rome I”.

Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution will, in the absence of an amicable agreement, be brought before the competent courts.

14. Contact
