A moment to slow down, breathe, and come back to yourself

Soul Sanctuary 2025 was one of the best retreats I’ve attended, even though I also run my own. But it was on another level.

I arrived at Domaine du Taillé a day early so I could settle in before the retreat, with questions about work—since I’d been laid off—as well as about my relationship, and above all about myself.

The moment I entered the estate, I felt like I was at home, in a magical place.

I hadn’t come with any expectations. I especially didn’t expect to feel safe so quickly.

Warren was the first to speak to us with kindness toward each and every one of us, like an ancient wise man, and without judgment.

What struck me was Isabelle’s energy—“the love elf”—which swept me up. She was incredibly gentle and listened to everyone, even though she had the extra challenge of understanding. She and we needed a translator.

Warren and two participants acted as interpreters.

A sense of calm started to settle in my mind, and then, as the days went by, it spread through my body.

The silent morning walk was a real treat. Well, on the first day, I’ll admit two of us were a bit distracted 😋.

The workshops led by Isabelle built up gradually.

I learned about myself that I’m on the defensive and that I struggle to let my heart open up in emotions.

As usual, I went at my own pace. I thought I was hopeless. But actually, we’re all here to learn.

The handpan is a wonderful tool, but I have to admit it wasn’t easy for me. You have to be as light as a feather, and I’m more the 🦍 type. We had a good laugh about it, didn’t we, Jennifer 🦒? But at the same time, I was sad and frustrated that I couldn’t do it.

I’m still a bit of a silverback, which makes me laugh.

During this retreat, I met beautiful souls, wonderful people.

I’m very happy to have met them, even if only for a moment, and I hope I can see them again at the next Soul Sanctuary workshop in 2026.

I took part in the handpan workshop in Givet (intermediate level) with Warren and Isabelle, and it was a wonderful experience.

The guidance is both professional, caring, and accessible, whatever your level. Warren and Isabelle take the time to explain, correct, and above all help everyone feel confident, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The workshop is very well structured, with a great balance between technique, listening, rhythm, and the joy of playing. You progress naturally, without pressure, while developing your musical sensitivity.

Beyond learning, it’s also a real moment of sharing and some great connections around the handpan.
I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to discover or deepen their practice of this instrument in a warm and inspiring setting.

The handpan was for me this mysterious instrument, but so beautiful to listen to. Without hesitation, I signed up for the 2-day workshop and there… what a discovery! Thanks to Warren’s knowledge and that of his beloved Isabelle, the handpan becomes accessible, even for people who have never touched music.

They are kind, patient, attentive people, but above all with a great sense of humor, and they give advice on the instrument… Everything is there. I came out of this weekend enriched, at peace, and above all determined to progress. The foundations are there, now it’s just a matter of applying them.

And thanks to this workshop, wonderful connections were formed. A weekend I will never forget 🥰

I’ve just returned from a Handpan Introduction Weekend with Warren: 2 magical days.

Warren gently guides us towards discovering this instrument and so much more.
He shares with us Love, joy, vibrancy, humor, generosity; he invites us, helps us connect with the Handpan, with our emotions.

Warren radiates an energy of Love and kindness that he shares unstintingly, encouraging us and guiding us towards greater confidence.
A moment suspended in time, filled with beautiful vibrations, exchanges, sharing, and wonderful encounters in a warm setting.

My third time attending a Retreat with Warren, and this time, the first alongside Isabelle… A week out of time, a true escape that I treat myself to whenever I get the chance.

Until you’ve lived through such an experience, it’s hard to imagine everything you can feel, discover, and experience during these few days.

I simply loved the location. The Domaine du Taillé is exceptional: the house nestled in the heart of nature, bathed in the soft autumn sunlight. A true sanctuary for reconnecting with yourself.

Isabelle and Warren shared so much with us that it’s impossible for me to list everything here. The Workshops were rich and fascinating, and gave me new keys to my own development.

The sharing and shamanic experiences, as always, were wonderful moments of exploration and discovery. And this year, I also experienced a first: playing the Handpan in a group. An absolutely superb experience, vibrant and full of emotion.

And then there are the participants…
I had the chance to meet some wonderful people. Everyone was different, with their own stories, backgrounds, and personalities, but sharing happened so naturally. A great “Gratitude” Tribe was born, truly! Laughter, tears, discussions late into the night, moments of sharing, kindness… I am so happy to have crossed paths with them.

I can only recommend that you, too, live this timeless experience. An escape to treat yourself to, to slow down, find yourself, experiment, share… and simply be.
